Bespoke software development firm Netsells has introduced a financial wellbeing support platform for its more than 35 members of staff to help them navigate the cost-of-living crisis.
The platform, provided by Bippit, offers each Netsells employee access to a financial coach who has been matched to their needs, as well as the ability to track goals, analyse spending and take part in monthly workshops, covering pensions, protection and budgeting among other topics.
Personalised learning resources are also available to help users improve their financial confidence and organise their future. All the resources on the platform have been created by financial experts to be relevant, targeted and easy to understand, and as a P11D exempt benefit, there are no tax implications.
According to Netsells, after analysing its benefits package and considering the current economic situation, it decided to offer more in relation to financial wellbeing, with the aim of helping staff with a diverse mix of needs, such as long-term goals, investments, mortgage guidance or debt management.
Gemma Woodward, people and culture manager at Netsells, said: “The point being that not everyone has the same financial situation, and this constantly changes over time, so having a platform which can help alleviate any worries or provide credible guidance is important to us for our employees.
“Bippit was recommended to us and after our own research, we found the platform to be highly rated. Having Financial Conduct Authority regulated professionals means we can offer credible guidance to our employees through Bippit and ensure they have access to these professionals from day one.”
Other benefits provided by the software development firm include flexible working, enhanced parental leave policies, up to 33 days' holiday, paid volunteer days, access to a wellbeing hub and employee assistance programme (EAP), trained mental health first aiders and a health cash plan.
