Cloud email security provider Egress, software firm Adobe Systems and digital communications business Cisco have been named some of the Best Workplaces in Tech 2024.
Great Place To Work UK compiled the list, using its research-backed Trust Index employee survey and analysing the responses of UK-based tech staff. They were asked to comment on how their employers support their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Organisations were also evaluated and assessed on how well they were able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.
Egress was recognised for its commitment to fostering a rewarding employee experience that celebrates innovation, autonomy, and wellbeing. Its ‘eFlex’ benefit was acknowledged as improving work-life balance, by adding 15 days of leave on top of holiday allowance.
A total of 92% of Egress staff said it is a great place to work, 93% feel proud to tell others they work there and 97% are made to feel welcome when joining.
Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place To Work UK, said: “The Best Workplaces in Tech list celebrates employers adept at developing dynamic, collaborative cultures that serve as a catalyst for innovation and personal growth for all. It’s fantastic to see these tech organisations placing their people strategy at the top of the agenda and implementing employee experience programmes that create a positive culture for all.”
Laura Probert, chief people officer at Egress, added: “For Egress, we prioritise helping our people to take advantage of all opportunities this industry has to offer to grow their careers and realise their full potential while elevating wellbeing, recognition, and rewards. Our inclusion in multiple prestigious Great Place to Work UK listings for 2024 provides external validation of our approach and our status as a top employer in the tech and cybersecurity sectors.”
