Admiral Group, DHL Express and Hilton have been named as some of Europe’s Best Workplaces in 2025.

The list, which was compiled by Great Place To Work and Fortune Europe, surveyed more than 1.5 million employees to measure behaviours that drive trust in management, connection and loyalty.

The survey covered whether employees are proud of their work, team and organisation, if they feel they make a difference, and their work is meaningful, and whether they enjoy the people they work with, feel cared for and can be themselves.

It asked if staff receive training benefits, appreciation, support for their wellbeing, and whether they believe their organisation is fair in terms of pay, profits, promotions, recognition, favouritism and opportunities.

Admiral Group, which has offices in the UK, France, Italy, Spain and the US, was ranked as the 15th best workplace in Europe. A total of 94% of staff believe it is a friendly place to work and puts people at its core.

The top 10 best workplaces in Europe are:

  1. DHL Express
  2. Hilton
  3. AbbVie
  4. Stryker
  5. Cisco
  6. Allianz
  7. ServiceNow
  8. Specsavers
  9. Aviva
  10. Hilti

A Great Place to Work spokesperson said: “In addition to analysing employee feedback for the list, we also consider what employers can tell us about their programmes and workplace strategy. Organisations are recognised on list based on the degree to which they outperform others in their own country and across Europe.”

Zareena Brown, group chief people officer at Admiral Group, added: “I’m incredibly proud that we have been recognised as one of the Best Workplaces in Europe. This achievement reflects our leadership team’s commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive culture where every employee can thrive, contribute, and feel valued. It’s a true testament to the spirit of our people and the importance we place on being able to attract the talent we need to deliver for our customers.”
