Commercial and specialty insurance firm Intact Insurance has been named a Best Employer UK for 2025.
The Best Employer certification is awarded by global HR consulting firm Mercer in recognition of employers that achieve top quartile engagement scores in its 2025 annual engagement survey.
Intact Insurance was recognised due to an employee survey, which saw a 15-point increase in engagement levels to 68% from 2024. This uplift outperformed other employers in the industry and moved the organisation into the top quartile.
Its increased employee engagement score is a result of Intact Insurance’s aim to create an inclusive, supportive and high-performing workplace through strong leadership and open communication.
During the past year, it has also placed emphasis on the importance of its values and leadership success factors as guiding principles. An engaged workforce is part of its overall strategy and one of its three strategic objectives.
