Lloyds Banking Group and air traffic control services provider NATS have been shortlisted in the category Best benefits to support menopause at the Employee Benefits Awards 2025.
This award was created to celebrate a benefits offering that supports staff with their menopause journey, such as a new range of supportive initiatives, training and employee workshops, a revised healthcare benefits provision that addresses the menopause-related needs of staff, or access to external providers and specialists.
The full category shortlist is:
- Lloyds Banking Group
- NATS
Superdrug won the Best benefits to support menopause award last year due to its objective of providing more support to employees going through the life stages of menopause and perimenopause.
It introduced a number of measures, including bespoke training for all managers and team members to understand how to support colleagues at work, webinars with medical experts and networking events for teams, paid-for bespoke consultations with menopause experts, and a relaxed uniform policy with a 98% cotton uniform so staff are comfortable.
A Superdrug spokesperson said: “We’ve worked really hard listening to all of our employees, and through our gender equality network have really driven this to not just get the policy in place, but normalise conversations and make it something that everyone feels comfortable, if they want to, talking about it and share their experiences.”
The 23rd annual Employee Benefits Awards will be held at the Honourable Artillery Company, London on Friday 27 June. It will include a drinks reception, three-course meal, entertainment and the chance to network with HR, reward and benefit industry professionals. The after-party will feature live music in the venue’s private grounds.
