Rokt hires Sarah Wilson as chief people officer

Rokt, the global ecommerce technology provider, has announced it has taken on Sarah Wilson as its first chief people officer.

Wilson’s appointment follows the firm gaining $80 million (£57.3m) in Series D funding, which will significantly boost its recruitment needs and ongoing talent development requirements.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Bruce Buchanan said: “We are thrilled to have Sarah on board. Sarah shares our values around people – people first, transparency, diversity, and the importance of strong people leaders.”

He added: “She also brings the expertise we need to tackle the challenges that come with our hyper-growth.”

Wilson said: “I am thrilled to join Rokt, a company that truly believes in talent as a competitive advantage. I am looking forward to leveraging my experience to unleash the potential of our people and to be a part of building the future fabric of the culture at Rokt.”

Wilson’s previous experience in HR and talent acquisition includes 15 years at smart technology start-up SmartRecruiters.
