Lloyds Banking Group and Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust have been shortlisted in the category Best benefits to support menopause at the Employee Benefits Awards 2026.
This award was created to celebrate a benefits offering that supports staff with their menopause journey, such as a new range of supportive initiatives, training and employee workshops, a revised healthcare benefits provision that addresses the menopause-related needs of staff, or access to external providers and specialists.

In 2025, NATS won this award due to its implementation of a comprehensive menopause strategy. This included a menopause policy and toolkit for employees and managers, and an employer-funded menopause plan also available to employees’ partners. In addition, it became a Period Positive organisation, offering complementary sanitary products.
It was also recognised due to its collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority to reduce the period when staff were deemed unfit to work when starting new medication from two weeks to 48 hours.
The judges said: “NATS’ strategy to improve the menopause offering as a way to encourage more women into the business and into leadership roles is inspirational. Particularly in a male-dominated industry, the move to implement the initiatives and benefits have been proven to improve awareness across the business and will help all employees outside of work as well as at work.”
The Employee Benefits Awards, now in its 24th year, recognises those driving excellence through their reward and benefits strategies.
The daytime event, which will be held at the Honourable Artillery Company, London on Friday 26 June, will include a drinks reception, three-course meal, entertainment and the chance to network with industry professionals.
