Something for the weekend: Discovery and booking platform DesignMyNight has begun its search for a dog menu tester at several London venues.
The chosen pooch and two human companions will receive a selection of incredible dog-friendly experiences across London, worth a total of £2,000. This includes two luxury stays at The Athenaeum and Great Scotland Yard Hotel, a three-course meal at Catalina’s, a canine-friendly afternoon tea at The Egerton Hotel and a three-course dinner at The Cavendish in Marylebone.
Pet owners across the UK who are 18 or over will be able to put themselves and their dog forward for this paw-fect opportunity, where they will be required to review the experiences for DesignMyNight.
Those travelling into the capital for the experiences will receive up to £200 for travel costs. All entrants need to upload an image of their dog during the application process to inform the venues of the size and breed.
The terms and conditions stated that the owner of the pup deemed perfect enough for the role must notify each venue of any allergies or special requirements at least seven days prior to their chosen visitation date, and that their dog must be well behaved. The winner will be selected using a random number generator and notified via email by 22 July.
The platform decided to launch this opportunity after recording more than 100,000 dog-friendly searches on its website last year, suggesting a high demand for UK canine-related events and experiences.
A DesignMyNight spokesperson said: “To apply for this opportunity, entrants must complete a short application form by midnight on 15 July. They must state why their pet deserves to be a dog menu tester and will be required to attach a cute picture of their companion to the application.”
We at Employee Benefits think dog owners and their furry canine pal would be barking mad to pass this tasty opportunity by!
