Global IT services provider NTT Data UK has appointed Evelyn Healy (pictured) as vice president of human resources, where she will head up its HR function across the UK.
Healy will focus on creating a people-centred approach within the business, while also building and delivering organisational capability. Alongside this, she will continue to drive forward the provider’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
In addition, one of Healy’s primary focuses will be consolidating the culture of the business following last year’s integration, where it became part of NTT Data EMEAL (Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America).
Healy began her HR career in Ireland and moved to London with Yahoo in 2006, to help it keep pace with its growth. Following this, she joined ESPN as HR director for the EMEA region and led the business through significant change.
She has also worked at WPP, where she focused on building performance-driven cultures, led businesses through transformation on a global basis, and partnered with leadership teams.
Healy said: “NTT Data stood out to me as a business that really places an emphasis on creating exceptional results for clients and that had gone through a big period of change with the recent integration. Building a people-centric culture for this new organisation as it grows is certainly a challenge I am looking forward to taking on.”
Fernando Apezteguia, chief executive officer at NTT Data UK, added: “Evelyn’s vast expertise across various HR disciplines and her ability to create people-centred approaches while focusing on the business strategy make her the perfect fit for us. It is an exciting time for NTT Data UK, and with Evelyn on board, we will continue to provide exceptional innovation for clients, our staff and the communities we serve.”
