Mars has appointed Helio Fujita to be its new global people and organisation vice president (VP) for its pet health, services, and nutrition business.
Fujita, who will join in July, will lead the people and organisation function and report to Loïc Moutault, global president of Mars Petcare.
He is an HR leader with more than 25 years of knowledge, expertise and experience in the health, pharmaceuticals and automotive industries.
Fujita most recently worked at Fresenius Kabi, a global healthcare firm specialising in lifesaving medicines and technologies. He has also held senior leadership positions across other healthcare organisations such as Abbott, Novartis and Sandoz, with experience in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Europe.
Fujita said: “The Mars Petcare business is one that I have admired, their transformation over the last decade has been hugely impressive and Mars is an organisation known for its special culture and principles. I’m excited to join the team.”
