Law firm Fieldfisher has introduced a reproductive and family health platform as part of its commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace.

Through a partnership with provider Maven, its UK employees will have access to virtual support with conception, pregnancy, postpartum, returning to work, parenting, and paediatrics, lasting until their child’s 10th birthday.

The free 24/7 support is via an online platform and mobile app, where staff will also be able to take advantage of an assigned care advocate who will be a trusted guide to help connect with providers and support through every step, and on-demand video appointments with providers across more than 35 areas, including doulas, mental health specialists, lactation consultants and infant sleep coaches.

They will additionally be able to access articles vetted by Maven doctors, nurses and coaches, and a library of provider-led virtual classes, covering tips on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum stress management.

Carole Ohl, chief people officer at Fieldfisher, said: “At Fieldfisher, putting people first is a core value. Introducing Maven is a tangible demonstration of that commitment. We understand that our employees’ lives extend beyond the workplace, and that personal and professional lives are inextricably linked. Recognising this, we’re proud to offer comprehensive family support, acknowledging the unique needs of all our employees, particularly our female employees.

“This initiative underscores our dedication to inclusion and creating an environment where everyone can thrive, both at work and at home. By providing access to expert care and resources, we’re empowering our team to navigate life’s significant milestones with greater confidence and support.”

All Fieldfisher employees have access to the Bupa Menopause Plan, to support them with the menopause both within and outside of work, and Bright Horizon’s Work + Family Spaces, which includes up to six paid sessions per registered member per year for back-up care when regular care arrangements breakdown. The firm also has family support and health and wellbeing initiatives, and flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
