ITN hires head of reward and wellbeing

ITN Television production business ITN has appointed Jo Fairweather (pictured) as head of reward and wellbeing.

Fairweather will lead its total reward agenda and have responsibility for the ongoing evaluation and improvement of reward strategy, establishing frameworks, policies and processes that are best practice, fit for purpose, and meet HR and overall business objectives.

Reporting to HR director Alexandra Standfast, she will also be responsible for identifying ways to engage and motivate employees, and will work closely with key stakeholders on all aspects of reward, compensation and benefits.

Prior to ITN, Fairweather was an independent reward and benefits consultant for Vibrant Foods, a producer and distributor of South Asian foods in the UK and across continental Europe. During her tenure, she oversaw a review of employee packages and conducted a benchmarking project to guide the career development and talent management processes.

In addition, she led the rewards activity and introduced a new long term incentive plan for energy firm OVO, where she worked across the group business comprising 10,000 employees and eight group organisations.

Fairweather said: “I’m thrilled to be joining such a special organisation like ITN, delivering cutting-edge content, and trusted with telling the world’s stories. ITN has an incredibly talented team and it’s hugely exciting in this role to be leading on the reward strategy and frameworks that ensure it is a great place to work and that continue to best engage and motivate.”

Standfast added: “I’m thrilled to welcome Jo to ITN, someone who clearly shares our passion for creating progressive work environments where people love to work.”
