At 2021's Employee Benefits Awards, People Matter won the award for Best supplier to work for. The judges were impressed with the organisation’s people and wellbeing strategy, which was concise but informative around its three-pillar approach. They felt it showed innovation in the level of employee input sought, with good turnover and engagement statistics.
At the ceremony, Amy King, co-founder and chief executive officer of People Matter, said: “We believe in what we do and we’re passionate; why come to work unless you love what you do every single day? We work with our clients to help with mental health, so we live and breathe everything we do for ourselves as well. To win [this award] just brings to life everything we stand for.”
The 20th annual Employee Benefits Awards ceremony will be at the Honourable Artillery Company, London on Friday 24 June 2022. Comedian Simon Brodkin, best known as his alter ego Lee Nelson, will be hosting the event, where reward, benefits and HR professionals will have the chance to celebrate the work carried out by teams and organisations during 2021.
Guests will be treated to a champagne reception, three-course lunch and an exciting after-party that will include live music, dodgems, a carousel and a big wheel in the venue’s private grounds.
