Global tax and finance organisation The Taxback Group has launched a new health and wellbeing programme for staff across its 33 international office locations.
The new health and wellbeing initiative, the GroupLife programme, is available to all 1,000 employees across 22 countries. It centres around three key pillars: mind, body and work-life balance.
The programme includes monthly seminars and information sessions on all aspects of mental health, as well as weekly activities, tips and advice to help staff maintain a healthy body, heart and diet.
The GroupLife programme was launched across the business during the organisation’s annual health and wellbeing week, which ran between 23 and 27 January 2017.
Activities during the week included information sessions on subjects such as mental and physical fitness, a smoothie morning, motivational talks, and sporting activities such as a team rowing challenge.
The GroupLife programme, which forms part of a wider employee engagement strategy, will run alongside current benefits such as on-site dental care, free monthly lunches, and corporate social responsibility activities.
The Taxback Group has also introduced a new employee recognition programme, which was implemented on 1 January 2017.
Eoin Lyons, group marketing and communications executive at The Taxback Group, said: “Employee engagement is paramount. With numerous charity, social and professional events happening all year-round, the new GroupLife programme seeks to bring everything together, streamlining and improving all the great activity that takes place with staff each and every day.”
