Car manufacturer Renault Group has introduced a universal healthcare programme designed to guarantee its employees around the world equal access to care.

Called OneHealth, the programme offers both prevention and support that focuses on physical and mental health. It offers free check-ups organised and financed by the group, which includes personalised monitoring through digital check-ups and physical check-ups from the age of 45. This aims to detect potential problems early on, highlight risks and provide targeted physical and psychological advice.

It also includes the Personify Health wellbeing application that offers personalised advice, good health practices and individual and group challenges to boost motivation on a daily basis, a network of workplace health professionals located near business locations, teleconsultations, and 24/7 psychological assistance tailored to the concerns of employees and their household members. These services are free to the employee.

Renault Group additionally offers comprehensive support provided by workplace health and safety teams, covering issues relating to health and working conditions. This is currently supported by a network of 148 health centres in 12 countries and offers local access to healthcare professionals.

The programme aims to provide all employees with health cover at least equal to or better than the standards in force in each country. It is being deployed across all the countries where Renault Group operates, with a target of 100% by the end of September.

Bruno Laforge, chief people and organisation officer at Renault Group, said: “OneHealth testifies to the importance Renault Group places on people, and I’m delighted that it’s now open to everyone, worldwide. This programme is a strategic investment that goes beyond the simple social aspect and is part of a long-term vision. It fits in with our ESG approach, which aims to balance economic performance, respect for the environment and social commitment.

“As a responsible organisation, we are aware that the health and wellbeing of our employees are key success factors. This programme also contributes to strengthening diversity and inclusion within the Renault Group, by offering support tailored to the needs of everyone.”
