Coventry Building Society, Hilton and Aviva named as some of the UK’s Best Workplaces 2026.

The list is compiled by Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture, and is based on confidential feedback to an annual employee survey.

A total of 76% of Coventry Building Society employees agreed that the firm is a great place to work and 90% believe that through their work, they contribute to the organisation’s purpose. The majority (95%) believe good customer outcomes are important to the organisation and 89% feel good about the ways in which they contribute to the community.

Meanwhile, accounting firm Lubbock Fine ranked among the UK’s medium-sized organisations. A total of 95% of employees said they are given the resources to do their job, 94% felt welcome when they joined and 93% believe the firm’s facilities support a good working environment.

Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place To Work UK, said: “Year after year, it’s inspiring to see organisations earn a place on the UK’s Best Workplaces List. Lucy Becque, group chief people officer at Coventry Building Society, added: “In 2025, we brought together almost 6,000 employees from two large organisations. We listened and co-created a target culture with employees from both the society and The Co-operative Bank. Our results show that this paid off, and I’m delighted that we have once again been named as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces.”
