One-third of employers offer team activities to support employee wellbeing

Employee Benefits poll: Just over one in three (35%) of employers are setting up virtual team and social activities to support employees’ mental health during the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

A poll of www.employeebenefits.co.uk readers, which received 44 responses, found that the vast majority of employers are introducing a wide variety of initiatives to support employee wellbeing.

Over one in four (27%) of employers are signposting mental health support and guidance to its employees online.

A further one in five (22%) believe that increasing communication with employees is the best possible way to support employees during the pandemic.

Additionally just under one in ten (9%) of employers are offering financial support as a solution, while 4% are offering support for working parents and carers.
