Global brand transformation business Landor and Fitch has been recognised as a 2022 Great Place To Work, receiving official certification for its UK, US, France, Hong Kong and Mexico locations.
The certification is based on anonymous surveys of employee experience, scoring the businesses across different aspects of workplace culture, such as inclusivity, employee wellbeing and management.
The process also requires written submissions from organisations, outlining their employee experience, how staff are involved in developing new ideas and better ways of doing things, and how - regardless of their role - employees are made to feel included and able to reach their highest potential.
A total of 94% of Landor and Fitch employees said they were proud to tell others where they worked, 93% felt they were given a lot of responsibility in their work, 92% indicated that people within the business cared for one another, and 91% would recommend working there to others.
According to the employer, the certification verifies its commitment to its staff, as well as a culture that nurtures individual and collective success, fosters diversity, and creates communities of shared purpose, beliefs and behaviours.
Initiatives that impressed the Great Place To Work team included its global award programme 'Above and Beyond', its wellbeing programme 'ShipShape', and 'Continuous Conversations', its flexible employee-led approach to learning and development that has replaced annual appraisals.
Carol-Ann White, group chief people officer at Landor and Fitch, said: “What makes this accreditation so important to both the business and me personally, is that it’s based exclusively on the honest feedback of our people.
"It’s the ultimate recognition of the collaborative and inclusive culture we’ve worked so hard to nurture through initiatives like Building to Belong, aimed at building a workplace that celebrates creativity and individuality, and The Good Squad, with its focus on inclusion and accessibility in our work for clients.”
Karen Thomas, senior consultant at Great Place to Work UK, added that the business scored notably higher than its global benchmarks.
