EXCLUSIVE: Charlotte Hallett (pictured), head of HR at Nespresso UK and Republic of Ireland, will present the closing keynote on wellbeing at Employee Benefits Live 2022 this week.
Titled ‘The purposeful people plan - how Nespresso is implementing a whole-person approach to employee wellbeing’, the keynote will take place in Theatre One at 3.10pm on Thursday 6 October. Sponsored by Simplyhealth, the presentation will explore wellbeing and making a difference to how it feels to be at work.
During the session, Hallett will share her own wellbeing journey during the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, in addition to some personal views on key lessons during this time from a wellbeing perspective, along with the concrete steps Nespresso is taking to evolve its approach.
She said: “I’ll be discussing how we’re taking what we have implemented across the business over the last few years and evolving this to develop a whole-person wellbeing framework, with a human first, employee second approach at the heart.
“This is about supporting all elements of our employees’ wellbeing in a range of ways, including reigniting passion behind volunteering initiatives for teams to give back to community, for example, and establishing a wellbeing committee, sponsored by senior leaders and driven by our people.”
Hallett added that she hopes delegates attending the presentation will be inspired to take a different approach to shaping a wellbeing strategy within their own businesses, and recognise that a one-size-fits-all approach does not always work.
Employee Benefits Live 2022 is taking place on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 October 2022 at ExCeL London. Compensation, benefits and HR professionals can learn and be inspired by leading figures in the industry, through keynotes, case studies, panel debates and practical how-to sessions.
While the event is fast approaching, there is still time to register to attend Europe’s largest dedicated reward and benefits event for the HR and reward industry.
