Accenture, Allianz, and L'Oreal included in the Top 100 most diverse and inclusive organisations

Accenture (pictured), Blackrock, Allianz and L'Oreal have been included in the Top 100 most diverse and inclusive global organisations, ranked by the diversity and inclusion index (D&I index).

American global investment management organisation Blackrock based in New York topped the list with an overall score of 81%, global professional services business Accenture took third place with a score of 80%, French cosmetics firm L'Oreal took sixth place for its South African division (78%) and German financial organisation Allianz placed seventh (77.75%).

In its fifth year, the index ratings measured by Refinitiv, is based on how employers best address diversity, inclusion, people development and controversies, measuring these areas in terms of importance in the market and how each business compares with other organisations. Only employers who match the criteria across all four pillars are assigned an overall score.

The leading industries in this year's top 100 is banking, investment services and insurance firms, with a total of 18 employers on the list, followed by pharmaceutical employers with nine, telecommunications services, speciality retailers and household product employers with seven.

The top five countries with the most employers on the list are United States with 20, the United Kingdom with 13, Australia with nine, followed by Canada and France with seven.
