The judges were looking for a successful strategy that boosts employees’ understanding of pensions and the need to save for retirement.

Admiral tailored its communications strategy to its relatively young workforce, keeping presentations short and snappy and using attention-grabbing campaigns. Judges particularly liked its clever use of language to make the topic as relevant as possible.

The judges said: “For the population it was aiming at, it had some fantastic ideas. Admiral seems to do everything a bit differently with a creative flair. [The strategy] delivered great results.”
