Elastacloud Cloud consultancy Elastacloud has appointed Louise Douglas (pictured) as its first chief people officer, effective immediately.

In the newly created role, Douglas will drive the firm’s HR capabilities and culture, scale its global growth and operations, and further lead its global talent, workforce enablement, culture, and diversity and inclusion.

She is an HR executive with more than 26 years of experience in directorial positions, including being a former chief executive officer and chief operating officer in UK corporations. Having joined Elastacloud in 2019 as HR and organisational development lead, she has helped to build its HR function with her proven track record in leading organisations as well as her people skills and HR leadership.

Douglas said: “I’m thrilled to be leading the people function for Elastacloud as its first chief people officer. We’ve grown tremendously over the past couple of years and I’m excited to be giving direction to our employee experience across the globe. We want to invest in people’s learning and development and in their progression, and to introduce new structures and approaches whilst retaining the ethos that makes Elastacloud a great place to work.”

Elastacloud has also appointed Alia Alguire as its chief commercial officer, effective immediately.
