888 William Hill

Gaming and betting firm 888 William Hill has introduced wellbeing support for its 11,000 employees globally.

Through the scheme, which is provided by Wellness Cloud, 888 William Hill employees will be able to access the Wellness Cloud hub, which includes more than 100 live talks and events each year on a range of topics related to wellbeing and health, and a library of on-demand content and resources available on both desktop and a mobile app, such as expert guides, podcasts, question and answer sessions, and workshops.

Staff can also take up one-to-one remote consultations with experts and specialists, and participate in sessions on fertility, menopause, parenting, nutrition, sleep, and neurodiversity.

In addition, employees can access the provider’s MindHub support, which includes guided meditation, sleep stories and a pocket cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) tool, through which they can track their moods, challenge negative thoughts and use CBT techniques to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

Mark Skinner, chief people officer at 888 William Hill, said: “Ensuring that our colleagues feel valued and supported is extremely important for us at 888 William Hill. We’re thrilled to be working with Wellness Cloud to support colleagues in both their professional and personal wellbeing with access to a range of experts, live events and online content. They will gain access to a platform that can proactively and reactively support their wellbeing, while engaging them throughout the year with online talks and events. We’re looking forward to seeing the impact that our new partnership will have on our colleagues across the world.”

888 William Hill also offers its employees discounts at high street shops, cinemas and on holidays, 28 days holiday with an extra paid day off for birthdays, discounted Zone 1-6 Oyster cards for roles based in London, and training and development opportunities.
