Rolls-Royce has switched providers for its healthcare trust.
Its new agreement, under which the healthcare trust will be provided by Alliance Surgical, will enable Rolls-Royce to develop a full occupational health strategy.
This will enable the organisation to promote employee health and wellbeing throughout the business, with a core focus on health risk management and resilience.
Dr David Roomes, chief medical officer at Rolls-Royce, said: “We have selected Alliance Surgical as administrators of our private healthcare trust because we believe its consultant-led model can deliver value through active claims management and direct access to their network of leading specialists”
Greg Clarke, chief executive of Alliance Surgical Corporate Health, added: “We talk to local consultant members, look at case notes and negotiate treatment accordingly.
”It’s all about a balance between cost-effective, quality treatment that’s clinically best, after all, consultants know better than insurance companies where to find the best and most cost-effective care.”
