Welplan has appointed Xafinity Claybrook to run pensions administration for its defined contribution scheme.

The project will improve member services, such as access to information over the web, and achieve efficient service delivery through greater automation.

Bruce Kirton, chief executive of Welplan, said: “We are driving the business forward and preparing for the opportunities that auto-enrolment will bring in 2012.

“It was exactly the right time therefore to invest in the latest pensions administration solution, one that will allow us to grow and provide increased functionality to our clients and members.

“Following a detailed selection process we selected Xafinity’s Compendia platform. The decision was based on Compendia’s market leading functionality together with Xafinity Claybrook’s understanding of our business and its enthusiasm for working in partnership with Welplan.”

Michael Payten, managing director at Xafinity Claybrook, added: “The content and flexibility of our Compendia system and our approach to partnering with clients enables us to satisfy Welplan's challenging brief.

“We are very pleased to have this opportunity to work with Welplan and support it in the continued growth of its business.”
