Business-to-business marketing consultancy The Frameworks has transitioned into full employee ownership through the creation of an employee ownership trust (EOT).
The decision to transition into an EOT was made after extensive research by the agency’s founder, Terry Brissenden, and the board. It marks its 36th year in business and reinforces its commitment to its people, values and clients.
The move ensures The Frameworks remains independent, protects its values and empowers its people to take ownership of the business’s future. It allows each of its 31 employees to have a stake in the future of the organisation and contribute to an environment where collaboration and shared purpose drive its success.
The aim of the EOT is to strengthen morale and increase productivity and investment in innovation and its people.
Brissenden said: “This is an incredibly proud moment in The Frameworks’ history. For 35 years, our people have been the driving force behind our success, and this transition is a natural step to ensure their efforts are recognised and rewarded. I’ve always believed that the best work happens when people feel valued and invested in, and employee ownership will only strengthen our culture and our ability to deliver exceptional results for clients.”
James Trowman, partner and general manager of The Frameworks, added: “This transition reflects who we are and what we stand for as a business. At The Frameworks, culture is everything.”
Rose Stewart, design director and newly elected trustee director of The Frameworks EOT, said: “For us, this isn’t just a milestone for the agency, it’s an exciting opportunity to deepen our commitment to clients. Frameworkers will be more involved and more invested in delivering the creative solutions we’re known for. We’re seeing this change already. In short, our clients will benefit from the passion and dedication of a team that truly owns it.”
