The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) is to enhance its payroll system to improve the way it rewards its employees.

The Falcon system, provided by MSM Software, will give employees access to a detailed breakdown of how their basic pay and commission is calculated.

The system, which will go live in March 2012, will also show how many new memberships employees have secured to support the conservation work of the organisation.

Melissa Werry, development and support team leader at RSPB, said: “We have never outsourced a project of this type before, but we have been delighted with the progress made so far.

“MSM’s work will ensure that once this improved version of Falcon goes live it will add a level of sophistication to the payroll system that wa snot there before.”
