Pets at Home recruits chief people officer

Pets at HomePet care business Pets at Home has appointed Rachel Mooney (pictured) as chief people officer.

Prior to joining Pets at Home, Mooney held senior roles at global brands including Google and Vodafone, and held the roles of chief people officer at Monzo and Snow Software. She was also a non-executive board member at Vodafone Group Services and Women’s Aid Ireland.

Throughout her career, Mooney has developed talent acquisition strategies, upskilled leadership, and shaped organisational effectiveness and people engagement strategies.

Mooney said: “I am delighted to be joining the Pets At Home team and being part of an exciting and growing business that is centred on the wellbeing and welfare of our wonderful animal friends and their owners.”
