TRL has appointed Kay Jarvis as its new chief people officer to further strengthen its executive leadership team.

Jarvis will lead the organisation’s people strategy, ensuring teams are aligned, empowered and supported as the business continues to innovate and deliver impact across the transport and mobility sector.

She has experience in providing leadership and expertise across a range of business operational functions, adding strategic value and delivering meaningful results. Her expertise spans developing effective strategic business implementation, change and engagement plans, comprehensive workforce planning, business realignments, and stakeholder alignment.

Jarvis also has experience in implementing policies, procedures and business improvement processes, managing complex employee relations cases, and leading talent and succession planning initiatives that build long-term organisational capability.

Most recently, Jarvis worked at Royal Mail, where she helped transform its electric fleet into the largest electric fleet in the UK in two years. Before this, she served as people and business operations director for Tevva Motors, supporting the scaling of UK engineering and manufacturing operations.
