The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) has replaced its personnel and payroll system.
The national school of public health will use Northgate Arinso's ResourceLink Aurora system for HR, payroll, self-service and web reporting for its 3,000 staff.
The system will also ensure LSHTM meets HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) payroll standards, as well as other statutory or regulatory requirements set by the Higher Education Funding Council for England and the Higher Education Statistics Agency.
Kevin Roberts, management information systems officer at LSHTM, said “Our current personnel and payroll system has been in place for ten years, over which time our organisation has changed significantly.
“We were looking for a partner that understood the public sector, and could handle the complexities of our large staff while reducing bureaucracy.
“The ResourceLink system significantly reduces the amount of paperwork that is currently required. Our staff particularly liked the self-service functionality.”
