Career history

Andy McLernon Interlink

Andy McLernon co-founded Interlink with Jay Gorga in April 2018. He has always worked in the digital media industry, and worked with Gorga prior to founding Interlink. They both worked in sales roles for international businesses based in London.

McLernon says: “I’m most proud of starting a business from organic and positive intentions. I fell in love with the media industry but was feeling a level of frustration with certain aspects of it.

“[We] started Interlink because of those frustrations and, as a result, the growth and success we’ve had has stemmed from this organic purpose, to make the industry a better place. I’m proud of how we’ve maintained our culture, underpinned by our values, despite scaling to four global offices. We had to learn to understand and embrace cultural differences from one office to another while keeping our company values the same. It’s strengthened us as a business.

“Our dedication to create the best possible workforce is a never-ending vocation but along the way there are certain markers on the road that let you know you’re moving in the right direction. We’ve been awarded the Great Place To Work award three years running and we’ve received praise from our industry for the bravery we’ve shown in pioneering the four-day work week.”
