Parcel carrier Yodel has introduced an AI-powered dashboard, through which it can respond to staff mental health pressures by identifying wellbeing trends and insights, in order to enhance its employee wellbeing support.
Yodel can now access a new happiness dashboard, provided by industry charity the Retail Trust, to monitor the effectiveness of its wellbeing strategies in real time. It can also benchmark its performance against industry standards, and report on the financial value of wellbeing initiatives to the organisation and the economy.
In addition, Yodel has run 400 online and in-person counselling sessions in collaboration with the trust since 2018 to support with trauma, loss and anxiety. Its workers can also access helpline support, financial wellbeing advice, financial aid, and retail discounts and benefits.
Since it began working with the Retail Trust, 1,000 Yodel employees, equating to 34% of the workforce have been supported, with 10,300 interactions taking place across the trust’s website, helpline and retail reward app.
Ali Richardson, HR director at Yodel, said: “We are incredibly proud to strengthen our long-standing partnership with the Retail Trust, an organisation that shares our commitment to the wellbeing of our employees. Throughout the partnership, the Retail Trust has provided invaluable support to our team members, with great success and feedback. We look forward to rolling out further offerings and benefits for our employees in 2025, while standing in support of the Retail Trust’s ‘respect retail’ campaign.”
