Travel agency Travel Counsellors has introduced several wellbeing initiatives to support its 2,100 travel counsellors and 300 support staff.
The initiatives include two wellbeing webinars, with one in January on Managing stress, anxiety and avoiding burnout’ and another in February on ‘Hug Your Mug’ – The power of mindfulness and regulating our nervous system at work’ weekly wellbeing walks at 12.30pm every Tuesday, weather permitting, a Zen space in the office with beanbags, diffusers, and calming music to help recharge and unwind without having to book a slot, and YouTube yoga every Tuesday and Thursday in this space.
It has also introduced hot lunches for staff on Mondays and Wednesdays, and breakfast every Thursday, 15-minute chair massage slots for one day in January and one day in February in the United Arab Emirates and Netherlands offices, and games on certain floors in the office to enable workers to rest and recharge while connecting with others.

Travel Counsellors also offers access to a dedicated personal counsellor, as well as a qualified and experienced health care professional through a partnership with the Able Futures Initiative, who are available by phone, through email or virtual meetings and help to build a nine-month support plan.
