The countdown to the eagerly anticipated Employee Benefits Awards 2021, in association with Aon, has almost come to an end, as the 19th annual event is set to take place next week.
The awards is returning to an in-person ceremony on Friday 12 November, after last year’s took place online due to the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.
The shortlisted finalists for 17 of this year's awards were revealed earlier this year and all of the winners will be announced at the event, which is being held at a new venue especially for 2021: Old Billingsgate in London. There was no shortlist for the Employee Benefits Professional of the Year and the Grand Prix categories, as these winners will also be revealed at the ceremony.
Hosted by comedian Zoe Lyons, this year’s celebrations will see all of the award winners announced during a lunchtime ceremony. The categories for 2021 include HR or Benefits Team of the Year, Most Motivational Benefits and Best Use of Benefits Technology, which is sponsored by Zest, among many others.
The Best Healthcare and Wellbeing Benefits category, sponsored by Simplyhealth, recognises those who have demonstrated a successful health and wellbeing strategy that helps boost productivity or engagement through employee wellbeing. Employers shortlisted for this award include UK Ministry of Defence research facility AWE, creative, marketing and document service Adobe, US pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly and Company, bank Santander and mass media and entertainment business WarnerMedia.
The Employee Benefits Awards 2021 acknowledges the most exciting and fresh HR reward and benefits strategies, supportive teams and outstanding individuals in the industry over the past year. It includes a drinks reception, three-course meal, entertainment and the opportunity for attendees to network with industry professionals face to face, as well as the enjoying the actual ceremony.
