At Hymans Robertson, we are very aware of how long a year it has been and how hard everyone has worked during the past 18 months of the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. As part of our wellbeing offering for Christmas 2021, everyone has been gifted both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve as full days of holiday in addition to normal annual leave.

Our new hybrid working approach also means that we can spend up to three days per week working away from the office, but anyone who chooses to work between Christmas and New Year can do so from the comfort of their home.

We always know Christmas is fast approaching as it coincides with our flexible benefits renewal taking place. This year we have focused on aligning our benefits to our strategic imperatives, one of which is corporate social responsibility. We can now all choose to calculate and offset our personal and family carbon footprint and the firm will pay 50% of that cost as part of its climate pledge.

Alongside that we have introduced an electric car salary sacrifice scheme, making it much more tax efficient and affordable to join the green transport revolution. It has generated quite a lot of interest and it seems many will be treating themselves very kindly this yuletide.

Of course, if an employee prefers an edible treat, our perks and discounts scheme gives a raft of reductions in many retail and food outlets, so that is entirely possible too!
