Saga has prompted Roisin Mackenzie (pictured) from people director, reward and engagement, to chief people officer.

Mackenzie succeeded Jane Storm, who accepted a role as group people director with Easyjet.

Mackenzie has been with the business for 15 years, and in her new role will continue to develop Saga’s people strategy.

In her most recent position as people director, she lead several specialist central teams, as well as owning the reward, diversity and inclusion and wellbeing agenda for the group.

A Saga spokesperson said: “We thank Jane for her contribution over the past years and the fundamental role she has played in establishing our progressive people strategy that has truly developed the culture, championed colleagues and created a truly inclusive place for us all to work. We wish Jane Storm and Roisin Mackenzie all the very best in their new roles.”

Mackenzie delivered a session titled ‘Happy, healthy and productive teams through hybrid working’ on 6 October at Employee Benefits Live 2022.

Key points covered within the session included setting teams up for success, benefit and policy design during and post-pandemic, engagement of colleagues and Saga’s new way of working, and wellbeing for Saga’s hybrid model and way of working initiatives.
