Business management firm Pentland Brands has appointed Belinda Deery (pictured) as chief human resources officer as of this month.
As a member of the Pentland Brands executive team, Deery will lead the HR services, recruitment, reward, employee engagement and internal communications teams across the business and brands globally.
Deery previously held HR leadership roles at businesses including Clarks, New Look, House of Fraser and Debenhams. She joined Pentland Brands from behavioural change consultancy KultraLab, where she was chief insight and solutions officer for two years. Prior to this, she spent nine years at Clarks as HR director, global talent director and latterly, chief people officer.
