Northern Irish construction firm Graham has implemented a streaming service app dedicated to employee wellbeing.

Known as the Well-zone app, it was custom built for the firm by Frog Systems, which developed the platform. It can be used on smart phones, tablets, laptops and desktops, has bespoke branding and incorporates Graham’s internally generated content

Graham’s more than 2,000 employees, families, and supply chain partners will have access to 16 channels of preventative wellbeing support and information. They can also explore a range of wellbeing topics in video, podcast and article formats through the app, which can be personalised to the user in a similar way to streaming services.

The app includes interviews, roundtables, and change programmes from wellbeing experts and practitioners, as well as personal stories, signposted organisations, resources and wellbeing-related offers and discounts. It is regularly updated to reflect awareness moments throughout the year.

Graham’s employees will be able to create personal wellbeing playlists, save favourites, set personal preferences to track, share with family, friends and colleagues, and learn. They can also select a topic or channel and be automatically signposted to relevant support organisations, resources, apps and services.

Davy Daly, wellbeing manager at Graham, said: “The Graham Well-zone app offers the best available wellbeing resources, and is a platform we will continue to develop in partnership with Frog Systems to complement the needs of our people. The launch of the Well-zone app is another significant milestone in Graham’s wellbeing journey.”

Earlier this year, Graham was awarded a Wellbeing Platinum award by Investors in People, its highest wellbeing accolade.
