EXCLUSIVE: Mental health panellists revealed for Employee Benefits Live 2022

EXCLUSIVE: Joe Dent, chief people officer and board member at Princes Group, and Jurgita Capizzano, international benefits manager at KraftHeinz (both pictured), have been announced as participants in a panel discussion about mental health resilience at Employee Benefits Live 2022.

The panel will be part of the conference’s mental health resilience stream, taking place in Theatre Two at 2pm on Thursday 6 October. During the session, they will share practical learnings from their own experiences, such as how to make mental health a part of standard business culture, and why this topic is not a standalone issue.

Dent said: “Every employee has mental health needs, which need to be continuously endorsed if it is really going to become okay not to be okay. Mental health is complex and can be situational, and that is why businesses should have a comprehensive approach to health and wellbeing that focuses not just on emotional wellbeing, but also on physical and financial health."

Capizzano added that during the session, she will be focusing on the way mental health first aiders work at Heinz.

She added: “I will also touch on other things we do for mental health at Kraft Heinz. I hope that delegates will learn about the role of mental health first aiders and what Kraft Heinz does to support its employees with mental health struggles."

Dent stated that he hopes delegates will take away the idea that businesses, HR and managers do not need to become mental health experts, but should consider working with them for the benefit of their staff and overall organisation.

Employee Benefits Live 2022 will take place on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 October 2022 at ExCeL London.
