EXCLUSIVE: BT is to bring all of its employee benefits together in one place with the launch of a new online benefits portal.
Following BT’s acquisition of EE in January 2016, the organisation has been using three separate benefits platforms. Its introduction of the new platform, provided by Benefex, is aimed at offering a harmonised flexible benefits scheme accessible via a single platform for all employees and businesses.
Its new benefits portal will enable staff to access all aspects of their reward and benefits programme from one central location, including online total reward statements and the organisation’s flexible benefits scheme.
The platform will initially be available to 75,000 UK and US employees. Its launch forms part of the first phase of the creation of a global benefits platform for BT staff.
Paul Wilkinson, head of reward and benefits policy at BT, said: “We want to attract and retain the best people and we believe that offering attractive flexible benefits to our employees is key to this.”
