Global distributor and solutions aggregator TD Synnex UK has received certification from Great Place to Work as a result of positive feedback from its employees.

To qualify for the certification, organisations must demonstrate that they have a built a high-trust and positive workplace culture. Using employee surveys and its certification and Best Workplaces lists, Great Place to Work recognises what organisations are doing right and helps them to continually improve.

Before certifying an employer, Great Place to Work accumulates employee feedback using its research-driven trust index survey and rigorous assessment process, and requests detailed information about the culture, the programmes and practices that make a workplace unique.

A response of more than 65% was required for the certification to be achieved, with 957 TD Synnex employees, equating to 72% of its total UK workforce taking part in the survey. In total, 90% of participating staff said they were made to feel welcome when they joined the organisation and are treated fairly regardless of their gender, race or sexual orientation.

TD Synnex will hold the certification until June 2024.

Jodie Carroll, senior director of human resources UK and Ireland at TD Synnex, said: “We are immensely proud to have earned Great Place to Work Certification and delighted with the positive feedback from our co-workers on their experience of working at TD Synnex UK. We make strenuous efforts to make our workplace culture open, empowering, fair and inclusive.

“As a business, we present ourselves as a trusted adviser to our customers and we also aim to be a trusted organisation and employer for our staff. We believe this is what makes TD Synnex unique and sustains our long-term success.”
