Canon UK and Ireland has appointed Kathryn Scott as its new HR director as of this month, replacing Debbie Brown who has moved internally to a new role as EMEA HR director, DRBG.
In her new role, Scott will be responsible for driving forward the organisation’s people vision and inclusive culture, as well as supporting it in continuing to develop a growth mindset to help it realise its mid-term growth ambitions.
With a strong track record of operating as a HR leader across a variety of sectors, including telecoms, entertainment and technology, Scott has extensive experience partnering with chief executive officers and business leaders to provide support to help teams and organisations grow and thrive. She is dedicated to delivering a range of people development programmes, including diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, employee engagement activities and a variety of development interventions.
Scott has previously held roles at Cisco, Imimobile, Antenna International, Sky and T-Mobile. She has experience working across a range of both local and international roles and has been involved in a broad range of change initiatives, including relocations, acquisitions, new start-ups and restructures.
