Recruitment firm The IN Group has rolled out childcare support and resources for its more than 500 employees to ensure they can thrive both professionally and personally.
Through a partnership with Louenna for Business, an initiative led by Norland nanny and maternity nurse Louenna Hood BEM, the group’s employees will be able to access tailored support for working parents.
The resources include the Louenna: Nanny in Your Pocket app, monthly webinars on parenting topics through Learn with Louenna, expert-led workshops and speaker sessions, childcare through Louenna’s nannies, and personalised one-to-one consultations upon returning to the workplace from parental leave.
When an employee notifies HR that they or their partner are expecting a baby, they will receive a year’s subscription to the app, along with Hood’s book Your Baby’s First Year: A Day-by-Day Guide, to support them throughout their journey. Once the baby arrives, staff will also receive one-to-one consultation gift vouchers, which can be used during parental leave for guidance on sleep, feeding, weaning, and emotional support.
The aim of introducing this support was to build an inclusive, family-friendly culture that prioritises employee wellbeing, boosts retention, and drives long-term success.
Becca McKillop, HR business partner at The IN Group, said: “Supporting our working parents is not just a benefit, it’s essential to our culture and employee retention. Partnering with Louenna for Business will give us practical tools to help our team manage parenthood and worklife effectively, something that is very important to us. The feedback from employees has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to working with Louenna for Business.”
The IN Group also offers staff flexible working, birthday leave, charity days, an annual leave allowances that increases over time, a bonus scheme, and personal wellbeing support that includes healthcare subsidies and gym memberships.
