Aegon has launched a mobile application to support employers through the 2012 pension reforms.
The Pensions Reform Planner app can be downloaded for free from the Apple store, by scanning a quick response (QR) code, or through the Aegon pension reforms website.
The calendar-based app highlights key dates for the pension reforms. It will keep the user up to date with all events and key legislative dates in the run up to auto-enrolment.
It includes opinion from Aegon about each event with suggestions of what to do next. This is accompanied by a call to action or link to more information.
Ross Jackson, head of workplace savings communications at Aegon, said: “We have been working hard to understand the challenges facing advisers, employers and employees in the run up to auto-enrolment and beyond.
“This free app has been designed to be intuitive and informative, and will add a great deal of value and clarity.
“In a multichannel marketing environment it is essential to tune into how your audiences use technology and how they spend their time at work and at home.
“Mobile devices are rapidly outgrowing the number of computers and this enables us to support advisers and employers in a completely new way.”
