
Maintel, a provider of cloud communications, connectivity and security managed services, has appointed Rachel Cox as its new chief people officer.
Within her new role, Cox will be focused on development of the people strategy and leadership and talent programmes. She will help to strengthen its senior leadership, enhance the broader expertise of the operational board, continued development of its people offering, approach to nurturing talent and building a people-led culture.
Cox has HR and leadership experience across a range of sectors, including technology and managed services. Her earlier career was spent in large global organisations where she led large-scale transformation programmes and held specialist roles in talent and reward.
She joins from Low Carbon Contracts Company, where she was chief people officer, prior to which she led the people agenda at global fintech firm Liberis. She was also interim chief people officer at global consulting, solutions and managed services provider Delta Capita.
Cox said: “I’m delighted to be joining as chief people officer at such an exciting time in its journey. I’m passionate about aligning people, culture, and strategy, and about creating an environment where our people can thrive, grow, and do their best work. This will be my initial focus while ensuring we have the capability and culture needed to support the organisation’s long-term ambitions and continued success.”
