Railpen, manager of the railways pension scheme in the UK, has appointed Sian Myers to be its new chief people officer.

Myers will join in April and become part of Railpen’s executive committee, reporting directly to Andy Bord, chief executive officer. Replacing Paula Brack, who is retiring, she will be accountable for Railpen’s people strategy.

Previously, Myers was chief people officer at insurance firm Ageas UK. She has also held the role of as chief people officer at Countryside Partnerships, now Vistry Group, and had senior human resources positions at Ford Motor Company.

Myers said: “I am excited to join Railpen, where I can help shape the culture and people strategies, collaborate across the business, support organisational growth and empower teams and individuals to excel.”

Her deep expertise, extensive experience and strong leadership will be invaluable as we navigate the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
