Employee Benefits Awards 2024

Employee Benefits Awards

The shortlist for the Rising Star category at the Employee Benefits Awards 2025 has been unveiled.

This award celebrates an HR or benefits professional who has been in the industry for less than five years and has already had a considerable impact on HR and business strategies.

The judges look at how the skills and talents of the winning individual have played a crucial part in the effective delivery of the organisation’s benefits strategy, looking for examples of initiatives that demonstrate how their achievements have contributed to results. These could include what they have done to distinguish themselves early in their career or how their input has impacted HR or business strategy.

The full category shortlist is:

  • Chloe Merrick, former people experience coordinator and current resourcing business partner at Welcome Break
  • Gemma Camwell, benefits manager UK and Ireland at GXO Logistics
  • Katie Huffen, HR, benefits and compliance manager at Next
  • Shruti Armstrong, reward analyst at University of Salford

This year’s winners will be announced at the ceremony, which will be held at the Honourable Artillery Company, London on Friday 27 June. Attendees will have the chance to network with HR, reward and benefit industry professionals.

Guests can look forward to a champagne reception, three-course lunch, a celebrity host and an unmissable after-party that will include live music in the venue’s private grounds.
