Southco Manufacturing has launched an online benefits portal, which comprises the employer’s voluntary benefits package and a new environmental benefit.
The online portal, My Southco Benefits, which is provided by BHSF, includes access to the engineering firm’s employee assistance programme, virtual doctor service, discounts scheme and the new environmental benefit, Green Squares.
The benefit aims to promote the organisation’s green activity to employees, which includes matching its UK carbon footprint with a corresponding area of protected Brazilian rainforest.
Through a dedicated Green Squares online portal, staff can purchase and send ethical e-cards, and track the growth of the combined area protected by both Southco Manufacturing and its employees.
Suzanne Roberts, compensation and benefits manager for Europe at Southco Manufacturing, said: “We are thrilled to be moving our current benefits booklet online.
“Using the My Southco Benefits platform, we have been able combine a wide range of offers provided by BHSF with a selection of our own employer-provided benefits.
“Moving our benefits online has also enabled us to participate in the Green Squares initiative, allowing us to demonstrate our commitment to protecting the environment.”
