Amid wide speculation of an upcoming flotation, global defence IT firm QinetiQ has introduced a tax-efficient benefits package for all UK staff.
The Motivano co-ordinated salary sacrifice scheme aimed at 9,000 staff who develop weaponry for the counter-terrorism market, includes a home PC package, bikes for work and childcare vouchers.
The part-privatised research arm of the Ministry of Defence has reported an operating profit of over £69m for the year ending 31 March 2005. These new benefits add to an existing package that includes flexible working options.
