Portico enhances benefits package

Portico benefits Guest services firm Portico has introduced the first phase of an enhanced employee benefits package for its 1,000 employees.

The first phase of the package, which has been designed to reward success and place wellbeing and satisfaction at the heart of the organisation, will give employees access to enhanced health and wellbeing services, including annual health checks and digital GP services. In addition, nutritional and mental health consultations, a bikes-for-work scheme and discounted gym membership will be available.

Portica has also introduced peer-to-peer recognition, thank-you vouchers from line managers to reward staff for going the extra mile in their daily work, and a staff referral scheme. Staff will also be able to access a range of staff discounts via reloadable cards, which can be topped up online or by phone via Portico’s internal communications app Heartbeat, its forum for communication, news, events, wellbeing, group chats and reward and recognition.

The organisation will also encourage employees to take up a paid charity day to support causes close to their hearts.

Portico will roll out the second phase of the package next year.

Dana Singer, head of people at Portico, said: “We pride ourselves on thinking creatively and innovatively when it comes to attracting top talent. Great people are the foundation stone of our business, and it’s vital that we recognise and reward the incredible value that every team member brings.

“Our enhanced benefits package reflects what team members asked for and spans the key areas that we believe contribute to creating a great place to work where everyone loves their job. It is our aim to ensure that hard work and commitment are never overlooked.”
